Hi! I’m Melissa! I was raised in Jackson, Georgia, just minutes from where I now call home in Forsyth. Aside from a few short years in my early twenties spent trying out life in the big city of Atlanta, my roots have always been right here. This community shaped who I am, and it means everything to me to now serve the area I’ve called home my entire life.

I’m a mom of three and part of a large, close-knit extended family that I cherish more than anything. Celebrations have always been a big part of our lives — birthdays, milestones, holidays, and “just because” gatherings. Making those moments fun, meaningful, and memorable for the people I love is where my passion for décor truly began.

I’ve been creating party décor and balloon designs for years, and as friends, family, and local businesses began asking for my work, I decided to take a leap and turn that passion into a business. Pleasants Party Co. was born from that leap — with a heart for creativity, connection, and community.

Today, we specialize in custom balloon décor and installations designed to elevate events of all sizes. As the business grows, my hope is to continue expanding while staying rooted in what matters most: family, creativity, and bringing people together. One day, I dream of opening a family-focused event venue that allows even more space for celebrations, memories, and community connection.
